TAFA could not exist without the support of dozens of agencies. If you look at the supported organizations on our "links" page, every one of these has collaborated with us on projects, provided direct funding, supported grant writing and publicity, given leaders for our Community Advisory Board, and more.
One very special relationship is with Collaborative Support Programs-NJ. TAFA's mission, vision, and activities are a great fit with this agency, which is:
• Run by a board with a majority of mental health consumers as members
• Responsible for running 23 of the 31 Mental Health Self-Help Centers in New Jersey
• Totally dedicated to improving the lives of people with mental illness through services which empower people to take control of their own lives, and overcome the poverties (emotional, financial, vocational) which often accompany living with a mental illness.
